Agronomic Biofortification with Iron and Zinc on Yield and Quality of Oat Grains for the Validation of a Potential Resource for Nutritional Security

Purpose: The objective of this study was to develop a management proposal for biofortification oat crops with iron and zinc by foliar application validate the technology analyzing indicators yield industrial chemical quality grains. Method/design/approach: experiment carried out in Augusto Pestana, RS, 2020 2021. A randomized block experimental design four replications used, 3×5 factorial arrangement. treatments consisted applications sulfate, sulfate + at rates 0, 500, 1000, 2000, 4000 g ha-1. Indicators grains were analyzed. Results conclusion: agronomic grain filling stage does not affect Zinc sources promotes increases contents caryopses, however, decrease contents. Iron caryopsis, Originality/value: lack foods is major public health problem worldwide. This makes great contribution zinc, ensuring food nutritional security population.
